Chicken Tandoori Roast


  1. Pieces of chicken (any), I took some legs and boneless breast pieces of chicken
  2. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  3. 2 tablespoon of yogurt
  4. 4,5 cloves of grated garlic
  5. Grated ginger
  6. Chicken tandoori Masala
  7. 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  8. 1 small finely chopped onion
  9. 2 tablespoon white oil or ghee
  10. Salt to taste…


1st marinate the chicken with grated ginger, garlic, yogurt, lemon juice and tandoori masala for at least 1 hour…

Now marinate the chicken with salt half an hour before cooking… Heat the pan and heat some oil or ghee, then fry the onion…

Now add the marinated chicken in the fried chicken and mix all together throughly…

Now add some chilly, red sauce and little salt as per taste…mix with the chicken and close the lid until chicken gets cooked properly… Stir the chicken at regular intervals to prevent it from get burnt from the bottom…when chicken gets cooked, dry all the water which comes out from the chicken, and serve it…

You can serve it dry as starter or with roti and paratha..
