Ingredients-
- Big full size prawn with head on
- Turmeric
- Small size cinnamon sticks and 3 pods of green cardamom
- Chopped small onion
- 3 cloves of grated garlic
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
- 1 small size diced tomato
- Sweet yogurt
- Garam masla
- Some chopped cilantro
- Green chillies
- Liquid tamarind
- Salt to taste
- Enough oil for cooking
- 1/2 teaspoon ghee
Steps-
First marinate prawns with turmeric and salt and fry them in hot oil until it becomes pink…



First splatter cardamom and cinamom in the prawn fried oil…Now fry the onion in the oil until it becomes little brownish… Add ginger and garlic and fry them until it becomes little brownish…
Add tomatoes and cilantro and cook it until tomato gets cooked properly…
Now add the mixture of yogurt and garam masala and cook it until oil separates from the side…. Add little, like 1 tablespoon of liquid tarmarind it, add salt as per taste, also add 1 cup of hot water in it too… when water starts boiling add prawns in it…
Now cook it until you get the right consistency you want… Then add 1/2 teaspoon of ghee and cover the lid for 5mins… Serve it with paratha/roti or steamed hot rice…
